In this workshop, we will talk about some reasons WHY kids do what they do, and some "real-life" strategies to prevent and address challenging behaviors in school-age programs.

Description

So you're half way through the school year. You're over the hump of new routines and new teachers and new friends. But the kids are still showing behaviors that just really push your buttons! Maybe it's having a hard time settling them down. Maybe it's teasing other kids. Maybe it's not wanting to do homework, or not wanting to do anything at all. Maybe it's arguing...or fighting! Whatever it is...we're going to use this session to talk about some reasons WHY kids do what they do, and some "real-life" strategies to prevent and address challenging behaviors in school-age programs.
