Many of the challenging behaviors in your classroom may arise from children who need help learning to regulate and manage their own emotions. In this session you will learn about emotional intelligence and its impact on the growth and development of children. The first and most important strategy you will learn is that adults must first be able to regulate their own emotions before they can effectively work with children. You will learn helpful strategies to support children’s emotional development.
