Summary

Because early childhood educators spend so much time with the infants and toddlers they care for, they are in a unique position to "catch" signs that a child's development may not be proceeding typically. This workshop will review typical developmental milestones, and explore some of the developmental "red flags" that teachers may notice as they care for children. We will discuss the teacher's role in working with the family to address concerns, and provide resources for teachers to access when they need additional support.
