Summary
We often talk about "re-directing" children's behavior-- but do we really know what it means? This session will explore redirection, the different types of redirection, and how redirection differs according the the development of the child being redirected. We will also explore how to redirect and creatively teach new skills so children can learn to be independent thinkers and problem solvers. The last half of the session will include scenarios and games so the participants can practice and improve their skills.
