Summary
This event is for professional development of youth work professionals in the afterschool field. We will also commemorate the 20th anniversary of "Lights On Afterschool".
Description
At this highly interactive one day conference, we will offer active learning focused workshops across five sessions. Workshop sessions will be formatted to DO an activity appropriate for school age youth, afford participants time to REFLECT on the activity and PLAN for implementation in their afterschool environment. Proposed activities will cover curricular areas in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, Behavior Management, School Safety and so much more.
