United 4 Children Teachers Learning Community 09/11/12

This is a support group for seasoned teachers who find themselves wanting to tackle classroom issues in a peer support atmosphere. The organized structure allows for effective problem solving supported by peers and facilitated by a leader. Participants will bring their burning issues to the group for peer support. Having an “open but planned topic” allows the needs of the group to be defined and addressed accordingly.

This group will meet for 11 sessions, the second Tuesday of each month (September 2012 through May 2013 excluding December 2012 then again September 2013 through November 2013) from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at the United 4 Children office. One point Five clock hours of training will be awarded. United 4 Children will coordinate the meetings. Cost: $120.00 (register once and you will be registered for all the sessions)
