A.S.A.P."Parent Involvement & Parent Engagement"

Getting parents involved and engaged —not just during but also afterschool—has a remarkably positive impact on students, parents and the afterschool program.  But what is the difference between involvement and engagement?  What do our programs stand to gain?  What do the children stand to gain? This workshop will answer these questions and more.  Participants will learn approaches to bringing parents into the program and encouraging them to become consistently involved in their programs
